Payment failed for an active contract

What to do when a card is declined for a milestone, weekly payment, or order.

If ReUp can't charge your card, you will see a payment failed banner. Updating your payment method quickly keeps your contracts and orders on track.

What you'll see

A banner shows Payment method failed with the card that was declined and how many contracts and payments are affected.

Fix it

  1. Select Update payment method in the banner.

  2. Add a new card or choose another saved card.

  3. Retry the payment.

Avoid it next time

Keep at least one valid card saved and update cards before they expire. ReUp sends reminders when a saved card is about to expire.

Contracts may pause

Active contracts may be paused until the outstanding payment succeeds. Update your payment method as soon as possible.
